The cistern is shaped so it sits neatly into the corner of the bathroom, with the pan projecting at about a 45deg angle towards the centre of the room.
They are available as a close coupled or wall faced suite.
TRAP TYPES
- Corner suites are available for S trap or P trap installation.
- S Trap suites have the waste pipe go through the floor.
- P Trap suites have the waste pipe so through the wall.
SET OUT MEASUREMENTS
- Set out measurements refer to the distance from the wall/floor to the centre of the waste pipe going through the floor/wall.
- The set out measurement is going to be one of the most important pieces of information needed when selecting a toilet suite.
- The set out will vary depending on the particular suite. Make sure you check with your plumber what set out you have before choosing a toilet suite.
WATER INLET POSITION
- Corner toilet suites can have the water supply enter the cistern from the bottom of the cistern (Bottom Inlet) or from the back of the cistern (Back Inlet).
WELS REQUIREMENTS
- It is now a requirement that all toilet suites comply with the WELS water rating regulation. This requires new homes to install a 4 star / 4.5lt full flush toilet suite, however 3 star/ 6lt suites can be installed in renovations
